Martin Clunes knocked over filming Heavy Horsepower

Martin Clunes was knocked over by horses on the first day of filming his new show about equines.
The 'Men Behaving Badly' star explores the world of working horses in one-off ITV documentary, 'Martin Clunes: Heavy Horsepower', and despite having a minor accident on the first day with his own "lovable but uncontrollable" steeds, Ronnie and Bruce, he was still keen to carry on and find out what they can do.
He said: "I had a boot off one of my boys and I got knocked over by the other on the first day we filmed.
"He hit me on the head and I went flying. But it doesn't put me off at all."
Martin was overwhelmed at the equines' slow pace, but he is planning to carry on riding his horses after being banned from driving for six months last November, which resulted in him being axed from the Churchill insurance advertisements.
He added to The Sun newspaper: "I found this new speed quite shocking to begin with, very slow.
"But I've turned 51 recently and I have a six-month driving ban and this speed could be my future, staring at my horses' bums as they plod around the countryside."
'Martin Clunes: Heavy Horsepower' in on ITV tomorrow (07.02.13) at 9pm.
