Aston Merrygold's emotional fans
Aston Merrygold says it is "hard thing to watch" when fans get emotional when they meet him on Sky1 HD talent show 'Got to Dance'
Aston Merrygold finds it hard to deal with crying fans on 'Got to Dance'.
The JLS singer - who is a judge on the Sky1 HD talent show - enjoys all the attention he receives from female supporters on the programme, but admits he doesn't know what to do when they get emotional meeting him.
He said: "There has been a little bit of love from the girls from time to time, but it isn't a bad thing.
"That's all part of the fun. People do seem to get teary when they meet me. I'm not good when it comes to crying - it's a hard thing to watch."
This weekend's show will see Aston and his fellow panellists, singer Kimberly Wyatt and dancer Ashley Banjo, whittling the 'Got to Dance' contestants down to a shortlist of 30, and the 24-year-old singer admits it was a "tough" job because the trio had different ideas about who to put through.
He added to The Sun newspaper: "It was difficult and there were disagreements. We are all going to have our favourites and think we are right.
"It was tough. It took all day to decide. Luckily, we were happy with the talent we put through at the end."
The final audition episode of 'Got to Dance' airs on Sky1 HD this Sunday (03.02.13) at 6pm.
