Viewers want Jason Gardiner sacked from 'Dancing on Ice'.
Show fans are appalled by the judge telling contestant Shayne Ward he looked like he had locked-in syndrome on Sunday's (27.01.13) show.
Unimpressed with his performance, he told Shayne his performance of Ricky Martin's 'Livin' La Vida Loca' looked more "Livin' La Vida locked-in syndrome," an affliction that leave those who have had a stroke or brain injury unable to move except for their eye muscles.
TV regular Ofcom has so far received 24 complaints about the comments, and many more have taken to Twitter to voice their anger.
Furious Andrea Walker wrote: "Jason Gardiner is disgusting and should be sacked."
The Stroke Association's Patrick Olszowski said: "All stroke survivors deserve support, compassion and understanding."
Jason - who is known for his controversial comments - initially tried to defend himself, tweeting: "I think it's good to bring taboo topics into the open."
However, he has now issued an apology, telling The Sun newspaper: "I sincerely apologise for any offence caused. That was never my intention."
