Ashleigh Butler 'excited' about Pudsey film
Ashleigh Butler is "very excited" about her dancing dog Pudsey starring in his own movie and is looking forward to seeing what ideas the production team come up with for the project.
Ashleigh Butler has confirmed a movie about her beloved pooch Pudsey is in the works.
The 17-year-old star - who shot to fame after winning 'Britain's Got Talent' with her dancing dog last year - revealed the production team are currently searching for a script for the motion picture, and admits she is "very excited" about the forthcoming film.
Speaking at the National Television Awards at London's The O2 last night (23.01.13) - where she and Pudsey performed a version of PSY's 'Gangnam Style' - she told BANG Showbiz: "We are looking for a script and the ideas of what we could do and everything, but hopefully it all goes ahead. You never know what could happen but it's very exciting!
"At the moment the movie is happening, yes, and it will be amazing if we get it going. But who knows with everything. Nothing is 100 per cent."
Ashleigh and Pudsey's manager Jonathan Shalit also confirmed the project - which is expected to be in cinemas in time for Christmas - is in the works and admits it is a "hugely exciting next step" in the clever canine's career.
He said in a statement "The British people love Pudsey. He has met the Queen and was invited to 10 Downing Street by the Prime Minister.
"This represents a hugely exciting next step."
