Jamie Johnson is an experienced printmaker, bookmaker and a member of Edinburgh Printmakers. He is art director/co-founder of Harvest Skate Co, a new skateboard and apparel company which creates artist-designed skateboard decks, produces videos, publications and clothing and provides a platform for Scottish skateboarding and visual artists to gain exposure. He has exhibited as part of Recoat Gallery’s group show in December 2012 and is currently developing work for future shows.
Jamie has curated group shows in Edinburgh, Glasgow, London and Toronto. His awards include the Nancy Graham Memorial Artist Book prize at Visual Arts Scotland (RSA Galleries) in 2011 and he was one of the awardees for the Cultural Enterprise Office’s Starter for 6 programme in 2012.
