Shia LaBeouf says 'Transformers 4' will be "really cool" and believes newcomer Jack Reynor will have a blast filming alongside Mark Wahlberg in Michael Bay's film
Shia LaBeouf thinks 'Transformers 4' will be "really cool".
The 26-year-old actor - who starred as Sam Witwicky in the first three instalments of the franchise - won't be reprising his role in new sequel, but thinks newcomer Jack Reynor and actor Mark Wahlberg will have a "lot of fun" filming Michael Bay's new flick.
He told Access Hollywood: "There's a lot of fun to be had there in terms of the action and what not. I'm sure they're going to make a really cool movie."
Earlier this year Michael denied rumours that 'Transformers 4' was a reboot, stating that the storyline will pick up from where it left off in 2011's 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon'.
He explained: " 'Transformers 4' is not a reboot. That word has been floating around on the net. This movie takes place exactly 4 years after the war in Chicago.
"The story makes a very natural transition, and reason as to why we have a whole new cast. This 'Transformers' will feel very different than the last three. We are embarking on a new trilogy."
In the meantime, 20-year-old Jack is preparing for his breakthrough role by undertaking "intense" training to bulk up his physique.
He explained: "I'm training very intensely at the moment. I'm going to keep that up until we shoot. I'm going to do some different courses, some different things I need to pick up for the film.
"My character seems to be a race car driver so I'm going to be doing a couple of driving courses and getting out on the track."
'Transformers 4' is rumoured to begin filming in May for a tentative June 2014 release.
