Matt Lapinskas was left in agony from an intimate injury during 'Dancing on Ice' training with Gareth Thomas.
The former 'EastEnders' actor and the rugby ace have been paired together for this weekend's duel skate - which will see one couple from each pairing granted immunity from the public vote - but things went wrong as they prepared for their routine.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Gareth came skating at him full force and Matt couldn't get out of the way quick enough and took it right in the goolies.
"All the fellas round the rink felt Matt's pain. But Gareth didn't do it on purpose."
However, despite the mishap, Matt - whose professional partner is Brianne Delcourt - has been quick to reassure his fans that he is fine.
He tweeted: "I'm absolutely fine me and @gareththomas14 are just going all out to entertain u guys, x we cant wait till Sunday (sic)"
And it seems the skaters may have more problems today (18.01.13), as bad weather is hindering Gareth's journey to rehearsals.
He tweeted: "Looks like I'm not gonna make my skating this morning.Been in the car for over an hour and moved about 100 yards.London traffic!!;( (sic)"
