Dominic Cooper to play Bond creator

Dominic Cooper is to play James Bond creator Ian Flemming in a new TV series.
The 'Mamma Mia!' star will portray the author and former naval intelligence officer in a four-part biopic to be screened on Sky Atlantic later this year.
The series is set during World War II when Fleming was planning military strategy against the Nazi forces, and Cooper admits he cannot wait to portray the man responsible for creating 007.
Dominic said: "Stepping into the shoes of the spy who not only created the enigmatic character of 007, but who fantasised about being him, has to be every actor's dream."
Viewers can expect the story to be as intriguing as the iconic big screen spy.
Executive producer Douglas Rae said: "Ian Fleming's story is as dramatic and entertaining as any of the Bond films."
Flemming used his experiences in World War II to provide the background to his Bond novels.
The spy franchise has been running on screen for 50 years and the Bond character has appeared in 25 films and been portrayed by seven actors.
The films' 50-year anniversary will be recognised at this year's Oscars ceremony, with all the actors who have portrayed 007 being brought together on stage for the first time.
Even Sir Sean Connery - who has distanced himself from the franchise because of a long-standing row over his pay - is expected to join current Bond actor Daniel Craig, Sir Roger Moore, George Lazenby, Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan for the celebration.
