Pudsey to perform Gangnam Style at NTAs
'Britain's Got Talent' winners Pudsey and Ashleigh Butler are to perform PSY's 'Gangnam Style' at the National Television Awards at London's The O2 on January 23
Pudsey the dog is to perform 'Gangnam Style' at this year's National Television Awards.
The 'Britain's Got Talent' winner and his owner Ashleigh Butler, 17, will recreate South Korean pop star PSY's dance at the prestigious ceremony in London's The O2 on January 23 as part of the event's entertainment.
Pudsey - who is said to regularly travel on music mogul Simon Cowell's private jet and has danced the conga alongside reality star Kim Kardashian - has learned all the moves for the big performance, which includes a cowboy-style lasso, side step and horse-like routine.
Popular ITV1 soap 'Coronation Street' has received the most nominations at the 18th annual awards - including Best Serial Drama - but faces stiff competition from BBC's 'EastEnders', Channel 4's 'Hollyoaks' and fellow ITV show 'Emmerdale', which all saw exciting storylines last year.
All the nominees will compete for their awards at the glittering main ceremony next week.
A new Landmark Award will also be handed out this year in honour of the key members of London 2012, which will be accompanied by a video montage of the public's top moments of last summer's London 2012 Olympic Games.
Voting closes at midday on January 23 and the whole event will be broadcast on ITV1 at 7.30pm. Fans can vote for your TV favourites at www.nationaltvawards.com.
