Craig Revel Horwood would judge on DOI
Craig Revel Horwood says he would become a judge on either 'Britain's Got Talent' or 'Dancing on Ice' if he was axed as a panellist on BBC One show 'Strictly Come Dancing'
Craig Revel Horwood wants to judge on 'Dancing on Ice' if he gets axed from 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The 48-year-old panellist believes he would do a good job on the ITV1 show after his experiences as a judge on the BBC's 'Strictly Ice Dancing' - which aired in 2004 and featured former England footballer Paul Gascoigne and actress Jill Halfpenny - but he would also consider a role on 'Britain's Got Talent'.
He said: "I did judge the first ever series of 'Dancing On Ice', the BBC did it, 'Strictly Ice Dancing'. Then ITV ripped off the format and did it the next year, before 'Strictly' could do another one.
"I ice skate and rollerblade, so I could judge that.
"I could judge on 'Britain's Got Talent' too because I employ lots of people all the time."
While Craig already seems to have made a contingency plan if he is axed from 'Strictly', he insists he doesn't want to leave the dancing talent show because it is so popular and "classy".
He added to TellyMix: "I wouldn't want to leave 'Strictly' though. It's too classy that's what I love about it.
"It has an enormous amount of class and weight and it's one of the most popular shows in the UK. My heart is still in it and I still love it."
