Andrea Riseborough: Film roles are life-changing
British actress Andrea Riseborough was inspired by shooting sci-fi flick 'Oblivion' with Tom Cruise and thinks the role will have a lasting impact on her.
Andrea Riseborough says her acting projects change her as a person.
The 31-year-old British actress had a great time filming forthcoming sci-fi epic 'Oblivion' alongside Tom Cruise and Morgan Freeman and says she gets so committed to her work, the films have a lasting effect.
She told Vogue magazine: "I couldn't have enjoyed it more. Fantastic. Inspiring.
"I felt very much at home. When you're inside a project, you are totally committed. And when you finish, maybe a year later, you become a totally different person."
During recent filming of 'Welcome to the Punch', Andrea insisted on staying in character throughout the shoot and refused to answer to people calling her by her real name.
The film's director Eran Creevy said: "She always wanted me and the crew to address her as Sarah, never Andrea.
"She kept herself to herself on set, usually reading."
Andrea has been shortlisted for the EE Rising Star Awards, the 2013 British Academy Film Awards' nod to up-and-coming young actors, alongside Juno Temple, Elizabeth Olsen, Suraj Sharma and Alicia Vikander.
