Phillip Schofield thinks Samia Ghadie's rumoured romance with professional skater Sylvain Longchambon could help her win 'Dancing on Ice'.
The 'Coronation Street' actress and the French hunk are said to have fallen for one another during training - with both of them dumping their respective partners - and the show's co-host Phillip thinks their relationship will see them progress to the final.
He said: "If they are close, or very close, or extremely close, then it won't do them any harm at all.
"If she and her partner are getting on, then it does tend to help. Samia could win. If you think about it, it's such a contact sport. Week after week they are incredibly close together.
"It is something new for the star, but pros know what they are doing. Of course you are going to throw yourself into it and your pro teachers are going to save you and pick you up when you are down.
"It is a hotbed of romance. There is a possibility of a romance between all of them. I don't know what it is with ice, sequins and fake tan but they are rampant."
Phillip - who co-hosts the show with Christine Bleakley - also denied claims ITV bosses were furious when Pamela Anderson was voted off first on Sunday (06.01.13) because they had paid so much money to get her to take part.
He told The Sun newspaper: "My boss is not panicking that Pamela has gone. They are sad, as we loved having her there.
"She was brilliant while she was there. She was a fantastic launch to the series - she was never going to win it."
