Dermot O'Leary to dance with Dracey Bussell
'X Factor' host Dermot O'Leary will dance with 'Strictly Come Dancing' rival Darcey Bussell at the National TV Awards, which take place later this month.
Dermot O'Leary will dance with Darcey Bussell at the National TV Awards (NTA).
The 'X Factor' host will risk the wrath of his boss Simon Cowell by perfoming a routine with the ballerina, who is a judge on rival show 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The dance will be the curtain raiser to the annual prestigious event - which takes place later this month - and friends of Dermot admit he's rather nervous as he doesn't want to mess up.
One told The Sun newspaper: "Dermot is game for a laugh but he is slightly concerned that Darcey and all her skills will make him look a bit daft.
"He's no stranger to dancing and has made quite a thing of it on 'The X Factor'.
"But doing something like the quickstep in front of millions of viewers is obviously quite a tall order."
However, bosses are giving Dermot - who will host the awards - a get-out clause.
The source continued: "On the night, Darcey will come on stage and then look to surprise Dermot by asking him if he'll join her for a dance.
"He could say no, of course. Viewers will have to wait and see what happens."
