Karen Barber: DOI is best yet

Karen Barber thinks this year's 'Dancing on Ice' is going to be the "best series yet".
The former ice skater - who has been reinstated to the judging panel of the ITV1 show - is very impressed with the celebrities that are taking part this time and thinks they have all upped their game.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I'm excited about the show. I think it's going to be the best series yet. The contestants have been great - Gareth Thomas is fantastic, he's so strong. And Anthea Turner is so elegant.
"Even in the first couple of weeks we've had some of the most difficult lifts we've ever seen this early in the series."
Karen, 51, also hit back at fellow judge Jason Gardiner, after he claimed she had only been reinstated as a judge because she's dating ice legend Christopher Dean, who, along with professional partner Jayne Torvill, mentors the contestants.
She said: "It's ridiculous. We're never going to be friends, but saying things like that is low, even for Jason. To suggest my relationship with Chris has anything to do with my position on the show is pathetic.
"Jason and I don't speak. We don't see eye to eye, but I'm professional and I hope other people will be the same.
"The thing with Jason is he seems to enjoy intimidating people. But he needs to pick his battles because I'm not scared of him."
