Lauren Goodger wants to be 'different' on Dancing on Ice
Lauren Goodger hopes that her appearance on ITV1 show 'Dancing on Ice' will help viewers see a "different" side to her than her partying antics and relationship dramas in 'The Only Way Is Essex'
Lauren Goodger hopes 'Dancing on Ice' will show a "different" side to her.
The former 'Only Way Is Essex' star has swapped her high heels for ice skates after joining the popular ITV1 show and is looking forward to showing the other side of her - which doesn't involve partying and relationship drama.
She explained:"I just think it's a great way to show a different side to me and learn something. It's also a family show; it's not about trying to make you look a certain way for entertainment.
"It's a very big challenge and very different from doing 'I'm A Celeb ...' or 'Big Brother', where you just sit there and you're done in a couple of weeks."
While Lauren, 26, may be confident the show will help change her public image she admitted she's "terrified" of the feedback she and professional partner Michael Zenezini will receive from judges Ashley Roberts, Robin Cousins, Jason Gardiner and Karen Barber.
She added to heat magazine: "I'm terrified [of the comments]! It's hard to get respect because I'm from 'TOWIE'. I just hope people see that I'm really trying.
"Even now [since beginning training in November] it still takes me an hour to warm up, and I'm still like, 'Hold my hand!' But I think as the show goes on I'll get more confident."
