Gok Wan wants to join Strictly Come Dancing
Gok Wan has revealed he is interested in joining 'Strictly Come Dancing' after being invited by the show's bosses, however the fashion guru is set on creating same-sex couples before he takes part.
Gok Wan wants to take part in 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The fashion guru, who is best known for his make-over shows including 'Gok's Fashion Fix', is keen to be involved in the BBC One competition and hopes to share his moves once he has enough time in his busy schedule.
He said: "['Strictly' bosses] have asked me to take part and I will do it when I get time off."
Gok does, however, have one request for his possible appearance on the programme - that the show's organisers allow same-sex pairings for the routines.
He added to the Daily Star newspaper: " 'Strictly' should have same-sex couples. Absolutely."
The 38-year-old fashion designer gave a helping hand to last year's contestant Lisa Riley when he advised her which tummy-control pants Spanx are best to wear underneath the flamboyant dresses that come with the show.
Sharing her delight at the time, Lisa - who came fifth with professional partner Robin Windsor - tweeted: "@therealgokwan lovely to see you tonight babes I am after those good spankos big hugs xxxx".
