Frankie Dettori facing CBB eviction
Frankie Dettori has been nominated for eviction by his fellow basement-bound 'Celebrity Big Brother' buddies, but they have all been allowed to join the main part of the house as a result
Frankie Dettori is the first 'Celebrity Big Brother' housemate up for eviction.
The champion jockey will face the public vote after he and his fellow basement dwellers, Ryan Moloney, Neil 'Razor' Ruddock and Sam Robertson, nominated him as part of a shock twist that saw the quartet allowed to join the main part of the house.
Big Brother told the four housemates - who have been living in the dreaded basement area of the house with only scraps for food - they could leave the "squalor" and go to the luxury upstairs section of the house, but one contestant would have to been sacrificed
They were given one minute to decide who is up for eviction, with Frankie saying: "I'll go - I don't mind going."
Razor replied: "But you ain't gonna go, you're the most popular."
But Frankie insisted, saying: "I don't mind giving it a go."
Following their discussion, the quartet eventually told Big Brother they had decided Frankie will face the public vote.
Big Brother then asked the jockey how he felt about being up for eviction.
He replied: "A little bit scared, but hopefully the British audience will vote for me to stay. And there was a unanimous decision, and I'm ready for the challenge."
The first round of nominations involving all of the housemates is expected to take part later today (06.01.13), with a live eviction due to take place on Wednesday (09.01.13).
'Celebrity Big Brother' continues at 9pm tonight on Channel 5.
