EastEnders' Chucky Venn: Ray and Denise kiss was 'really weird'
Chucky Venn admits it was "really weird" filming his 'EastEnders' alter-ego Ray Dixon's kiss with Denise Fox as opposed to her sister Kim Fox.
'EastEnders' star Chucky Venn says it was "really weird" filming his onscreen kiss with Diane Parish.
The 39-year-old actor - who portrays youth mentor Ray Dixon in the BBC One soap - loves shooting scenes with Diane, who portrays Denise Fox, and Tameka Empson, who stars as her onscreen sister and Ray's partner Kim Fox, but he "felt a bit bad" when his alter-ego shared a smooch with Denise.
He said: "What can I say - it's not a hard job filming scenes with two gorgeous women!
"On the downside, I do feel a bit bad, as I'm really close to Tameka, who plays Kim. She's been my screen partner for the past 10 or 11 months, so it was really weird filming the kiss between Ray and Denise."
While Chucky felt guilty for Tameka's alter-ego, he admits the trio have "so much fun" on the 'EastEnders set and enjoy sharing jokes with each other.
He added to Inside Soap magazine: "But when me, Tameka and Diane Parish get the banter going behind the scenes, it's so much fun.
"We all give as good as we get - Tameka's very competitive. If you get her with a good comeback, it'll bamboozle her for a minute - but then she'll lick her wounds and come flying back! It's great fun."
