Male supermodel Charley Speed wants to continue his health kick this year by making 2013 the year he sticks to his exercise regime
Charley Speed's new year's resolution is to exercise more.
The male model - who made his name posing with Kate Moss in a 1997 Calvin Klein ad campaign - has already given up his biggest vices, but his only regret is not being consistent enough with his workout routine because he hates going to the gym.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I've been so good, I've given up so much, my vices. I eat very healthily these days, I don't drink like I used to, I think I'd like to just stay on that, stay stronger and just be a little bit more consistent with my exercise regime.
"Because I hate gyms. I've never been a member of a gym. I was a waif and I didn't have to go to the gym, I was the skinny kid. I was right at the beginning of that skinny thing in fashion and I got away with it and I was fine and they loved it, but I can't get away with it anymore!"
The 33-year-old star says now that he's older he loves nothing more than tucking into tasty meals, but he needs to work off the calories with swimming and running to stay in shape and hopes 2013 will see him continue his health kick.
Charley said: "I want to do more swimming. I'm a runner, I only discovered it recently. Just more of that really! I need to be disciplined. It comes with age, giving up smoking and discovering that food's lovely, you start eating more of it. How boring is that? It sends out a good message though!"
