Celebrity Big Brother to have wild west theme
The latest series of 'Celebrity Big Brother' will aim to create conflict amongst the housemates with wild west inspired interiors
The new series of 'Celebrity Big Brother' will have a wild west theme.
The revamped Big Brother house will feature red decor and a Texas ranch-style living room and bedroom, which behaviour expert Judi James believes will help stir up conflict amongst the latest batch of famous housemates, as well as create sexual tension.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, she explained: "From the looks of the house, the celebrities are in for a tough ride in the new year.
"This is the colour of love and passion so we could be looking forward to some sexual activity there. But it's also the colour of anger and aggression. In addition to flirting, we could see bust-ups. You'll get both ends of the emotional spectrum."
The new-look Big Brother house - which has an outer exterior of a Swedish ice hotel - also boasts an igloo in the garden and a state of the art gym.
Judi said: "The igloo is decked with furs which will give a womb-like effect and it all looks cosy. This will make the celebrities feel this is a safe haven or a refuge and it will make them forget the cameras are on them. So you could see some flirting in here. And because they will feel safe, this could also be where all the secret bitching and whispering takes place."
The housemates - rumoured to include 'X Factor' star Rylan Clark, former 'EastEndfers' actress Gillian Taylforth and comedian Jim Davidson - will have their faces lit up on television screens in the living room, with each screen being switched off as they are evicted.
Judi added: "It's like having their name taken off a movie or theatre poster. It will bring out their vanity."
'Celebrity Big Brother' starts on January 3 on Channel 5.
