Hollyoaks' Andrew Moss plans quiet Christmas
Former 'Hollyoaks' actor Andrew Moss is shunning lavish festive celebrations for an intimate family gathering this Christmas because he can't be bothered to cook
'Hollyoaks' actor Andrew Moss is having a quiet family Christmas.
The soap star - who played Rhys Ashworth on the Channel 4 soap - is down-sizing his festive traditions this year and instead of a lavish banquet in France, he plans to relax at home in Manchester.
Andrew exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Every year usually the family goes to France because we've got a little house there. I usually do all the cooking because I've started to get into cooking and things, and last year I did a massive spread for everyone - for like 20 people - and it was amazing.
"This year, the logistics of getting 20 people over to our house was a nightmare so this year we're just having a nice quiet family Christmas."
The 28-year-old actor's on-screen alter-ego was killed off recently in the dramatic 'Enjoy The Ride' bus crash storyline and he hopes to make the most of his new-found freedom to relax over the festive period.
Andrew is getting his immediate family together and will be breaking with tradition to eat out in a restaurant on Christmas Day (25.12.12) as he can't be bothered to do the washing up.
He said: "Just close family. Mum, dad me and my brother and my cousin and my aunty and were just gonna have it at my house and then we were gonna eat out. This year we've decided to do something different - it saves on the washing up and my flat's only tiny!"
