Stacey Solomon is planning a traditional family Christmas with her fiance Aaron Barham and kids, Zachary, four, and seven-month-old Leighton.

Stacey Solomon is a Christmas traditionalist.

The singer and TV presenter revealed she likes to stick to tradition on Christmas Day (25.12.12), including a turkey dinner, family board games and watching festive programmes on TV.

She said: "I'm really traditional so Christmas is the same for us every year, open our presents, eat too much food and fall asleep watching Christmas TV.

"Every year we have a new board game that the whole family plays after lunch, last year it was 'Family Fortunes' but we still haven't decided what it will be this year.

"It wouldn't be Christmas Day if everyone didn't fall asleep in front of the TV by 8 o'clock!"

The 23-year-old star also revealed she put up her Christmas tree well in advance of the big day on Tuesday (25.12.12) to get her into the festive spirit.

She added: "Putting the tree up is by far my favourite Christmas tradition. Mine went up in November this year because it just doesn't get appreciated as much as it should if you only put it up twelve days before!"

Stacey fronted Fox's Christmas Jumper Day this year, encouraging the nation to don their festive knits and donate £1 to Age UK. You can still make a donation to the charity at www.xmasjumperday.co.uk.
