Dannii Minogue signs up for Next Top Model
Dannii Minogue appears to have snubbed Simon Cowell and 'The X Factor' by signing up to be a judge on next year's 'Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model'
Dannii Minogue has signed up to be a judge on 'Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model'.
The 41-year-old star - who was a panellist on 'The X Factor' from 2007 to 2010 - has agreed a deal to join host Elle Macpherson and model Tyson Beckford on the Sky Living show to search for new catwalk talent.
The Australian beauty - who will start work on the programme in February - told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I am brushing up on my model moves and with my highest platform heels on, I am excited to come face to face with the glamazons of 'BINTM' 2013.
"'Next Top Model' has always been a part of my essential TV viewing and I am so excited to be back in the UK for Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model's ninth series.
"Mentoring and judging has been a major part of my life since 2007. It will be great to strut some fashion and modeling experience with the girls.
"I remember Elle's first magazine cover in Australia and I have been a fan of hers since then.
"I am looking forward to joining Elle, Tyson and the contestants to find the next biggest star.
"It's an exciting time to be part of the Sky Living team. Bring on 2013."
But in signing up for 'Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model', Dannii - who reportedly had a secret relationship with Simon Cowell, which was revealed in May - looks to have effectively snubbed the music mogul and a return to 'The X Factor'.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: "This is two fingers up to Cowell.
"She is definitely not going back to 'The X Factor' and can't wait to get working on 'Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model'.
"Dannii loves the fashion world and this show is perfect for her."
Dannii previously rejected a £1 million offer to replace Kelly Rowland on this year's 'X Factor', and she had been linked with a return to the ITV1 talent show for 2013.
