Lostprophets' Ian Watkins has been charged with conspiracy to rape a minor.
The vocalist with the 'Last Summer' rockers appeared in magistrates court in Cardiff, Wales, today (19.12.12) where he was charged with six counts relating to child sex offences.
Wearing a dark hooded top, he spoke only to confirm his name and date of birth.
The 35-year-old has been charged with: Conspiracy to rape a child aged under 13; conspiracy to engage in sexual activity with a child aged under 13; possession of indecent images of children; making indecent images of children; distributing indecent images of children and possessing extreme pornography.
Also appearing in court were two English women - a 20-year-old and a 24-year-old - who are also charged in connection with the alleged offences. However, the 20-year-old does not face a charge of conspiracy to rape.
The charges relate to alleged offences that took place between May and December of this year.
Applications for bail by all three parties were rejected and they will be remanded in custody until December 31, when they will appear at Cardiff Crown Court.
