Ricci Guarnaccio: Geordie Shore was like a pressure cooker

Ricci Guarnaccio felt trapped in a "pressure cooker" during his time on 'Geordie Shore'.
The 26-year-old hunk announced his departure from the MTV reality show, which is based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, North East England, on Tuesday (11.12.12) and hopes his decision will make his relationship with fiancee Vicky Pattinson "stronger" - as well as creating a more positive attitude in the house.
Speaking to MTV UK, Ricci said: "Obviously it was a lot of pressure on our relationship. Me and Vicky, we've been through a lot, and we thought we were stronger than last time to not argue and stuff like that - but it is a pressure cooker.
"Obviously she means the world to me and it's just right for me to leave at this time and get myself sorted. And hopefully we'll come back stronger. I mean, I took myself out the house for a reason - because I didn't want arguments blowing up and spoiling it for everyone else. So I'm doing this for the benefit of everyone."
Although Ricci knows he made the right choice, as the party lifestyle caused too many arguments between himself and his 25-year-old girlfriend, he admitted he will miss the "banter" of his housemates.
He added: "I'm going to miss absolutely everything in the house - the lads, even all the girls and the banter. I'm being mature about this. Having a relationship in that house ... no one will ever, ever, understand how hard it is.
"When you're drinking every single day and not sleeping properly, you get irritated and snappy."
