Christopher Maloney could be isolated on the 'X Factor' tour because fellow finalists are "unhappy" about his inclusion.
The former cruise ship crooner may receive "star treatment", such as an exclusive backstage area and private rehearsals, for the lucrative string of gigs to keep him away from his fellow contestants after he was allegedly abusive to wannabes including Carolynne Poole at 'X Factor' final rehearsals last weekend.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "There is unhappiness over this decision to let him back. He wasn't universally liked whatsoever."
While a number of contestants were calling for Kye Sones to replace Christopher on the tour - which takes place in January and February and can land acts up to £100,000 apiece - the Liverpool-born singer has promised to behave himself.
A source on the ITV1 show told the Daily Star newspaper: "After his behaviour at the final there was a real question mark over whether we should allow him to come on tour.
"He has promised there will be no repeats, so everyone feels more comfortable about allowing him to be involved."
Carolynne recently claimed Christopher called her a "****" and earlier in the series Kye told how the 34-year-old singer was like a different person off-camera.
He said: "There's two people. One when cameras are there and one when they're not."
Following reports Christopher - who finished third in the competition - had turned up to 'The X Factor' final group song rehearsals drunk and then stormed out after learning he only had one line in the medley, he took to Twitter and insisted he had been pulled out of the final by doctors because of a sore throat.
