Ricci Guarnaccio has quit 'Geordie Shore' in order to save his relationship.
The 26-year-old hunk has decided to leave the MTV reality show, which is based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, North East England, to focus on his relationship with fiancee and castmate Vicky Pattinson, 25, and although he is "gutted" he feels it's best for them in the long run after all their bickering in the house.
Speaking on last night's (11.12.12) episode, Ricci told his friends and housemates: "I love you all to bits and me being in this house and the relationship as well, it's just not right.
"You are like brothers and sisters to us. I can't put me and her through this anymore. Mine and Vicky's relationship is a lot more important than anything else in this world.
"I'm going to leave and I don't know whether I'll come back."
While Ricci is doing this for his girlfriend, Vicky was surprised at his big decision and doesn't know how she'll cope without him.
She said: "I can't believe that Ricci's left and I wish we was still in the house together. I don't know how I'm going to do any of this without him"
The pair had previously engaged in a massive argument over Ricci's "possessive" tendencies and it seemed like things wouldn't be resolved when he stormed out the house with her engagement ring.
Vicky shared: "It is so blatantly obvious that he's not in the place that I want him to be."
However, Ricci returned shortly after and shared his decision.
Fellow star Charlotte-Letitia Crosby, 22, said: "I'm sad to see yet another person have to leave."
Three other cast members have left the show permanently since it began in May 2011; Greg Lake, Jason 'Jay' Gardner and Rebecca Walker.
