Len Goodman: Dani and Vincent had easy dance
Though Dani Harmer and Vincent Simone impressed the 'Strictly Come Dancing' panel with their fusion dance last week, head judge Len Goodman thinks they had an easier routine than some of the other couples
Len Goodman thinks Dani Harmer and Vincent Simone had an "easier" dance than their 'Strictly Come Dancing' rivals last weekend.
The 'Tracy Beaker' actress and her professional partner performed a Charleston and quickstep for the dance fusion round - which earned them 38 points, putting them in second place on the leader board - and though the show's head judge enjoyed their routine, he thinks they had chosen two dances which can naturally fuse into one another.
Speaking on 'Strictly: It Takes Two', he said: "I enjoyed the quickstep a little bit more than I did the Charleston bit. I thought the Charleston was sometimes a little bit confined. It wasn't full of razzmatazz but the mix was very good and I felt that Vincent, last week with his Viennese Waltz that was clever and again on Saturday I thought it was really clever again.
"It was a little bit easier than some though, because both dances are from the 20s. You see Charleston in the normal quickstep anyway, so it was a little easier to fuse."
This weekend, Dani and Vincent will dance twice, an Argentine Tango and American Smooth, and the professional has been struggling with his choreography.
He tweeted: "Still choreographing the 2 dances, feel a bit sick!!! Think I've got PMT !!! X
"I've got too many ideas, need a woman to dance with. It takes two to tango!!! Tried next door, my neighbour is sleeping xxx (sic)"
However, Dani appears confident about their routines.
she tweeted: ""Well that was a long but very very fun day!! American smooth sorted! Tomorrow Argentine tango! No pressure lol xxx (sic)"
