Nikki Sanderson won't rule out Coronation Street return
Nikki Sanderson would "never say never" to returning to 'Coronation Street', despite being thrilled with her new role as Maxine Minniver on 'Hollyoaks'.
Nikki Sanderson would consider returning to 'Coronation Street'.
The 27-year-old soap star is loving her new role as village vixen Maxine Minniver on 'Hollyoaks', but says she would "never say never" to reprising her part as wild child Candice Stowe on the flagship ITV1 soap in the future.
The bubbly brunette told new! magazine: "I try not to regret anything. Every choice I've made has brought me to this point. I had the most amazing time at 'Corrie', but I'd been there a long time, was still a child actor and I wanted to learn my craft and try new things.
"Never say never [though]. But I'm happy at 'Hollyoaks' and as long as they like me, I'm hoping they'll keep me on!"
Nikki - who also played ditzy Dawn Bellamy in 'Heartbeat' - is set to cause havoc on the Channel 4 show as devious Maxine, Mitzeee's (Rachel Shenton) sister from hell, and says she has been welcomed by her new cast mates with open arms.
She said: "I'm having so much fun! From the day I got here, everyone's been so welcoming... I'd met people at events so I knew them to say hello to. I felt like part of the team straight away."
