My Bloody Valentine to play UK gigs in 2013

Glasgow, London and Manchester shows announced, with new album incoming soon

Shoegaze giants My Bloody Valentine are set to play three UK gigs next March following a February tour of Japan and Australia. A headline slot at Japan’s Tokyo Rocks festival has also been set.

The band has also confirmed that their third album – the long awaited follow-up to 1991’s Loveless – is now completed. In an interview last month Kevin Shields announced that the album will be released via his website before the end of 2012.

These will be the first My Bloody Valentine UK gigs for four years. Tickets are set at £25 and go on sale on Fri 7 Dec at 9am.
