deadmau5 lit up London last night (28.11.12) with a spectacular secret gig.

The dance musician teamed up with Nokia Lumia phones to wow revellers in Southwark's Flat Iron Square in central London. He gave a spectacular audio-visual performance helmed by the mobile phone giant which saw houses in the area rigged using specially developed software to make it appear as though they were being "played" when the DJ took to the decks.

Following his pulsating performance, the electro-house music producer - whose real name is Joel Zimmerman - wrote on Twitter: "Thanks for tunning in folks! Was a bit chilly, but we had a great time :)

"Yay! Thanks for the awesome time @nokia_UK (and the sweet ass phone)

"3 gigs in 12 hours. Been up since 4am... Going to bed now at 4am. Tired mau5 go night night now. Thank you London! (sic)"

The spectacle comes one year after Nokia created one of the biggest light shows the capital had ever seen when 12,000 people gathered on the bank of the River Thames up to see deadmau5's performance in front of the Millbank Tower projected in 4D onto the landmark.

The Canadian music producer said at the time: "Playing Millbank Tower was an incredible experience, so it's great to be back in London to team up with Nokia again. The new show was a totally different concept from last year, but equally inspiring and technically challenging."

Nokia's Adam Johnson said: "We wanted to do something as innovative as our products to celebrate the launch of the new Nokia Lumia range. The show took its inspiration from the vibrant colours of the range.

"The Nokia Lumia 920 has extraordinary low light capabilities and we wanted to create an event that would showcase this fantastic feature and still show that our products stand out from the current sea of faceless black handsets."
