Jason Gardiner confirms return to Dancing On Ice
Jason Gardiner has confirmed that he is returning to the 'Dancing On Ice' panel after fellow TV personality and former judge Louie Spence gave the secret away on Twitter earlier this month.
Jason Gardiner has confirmed he is returning to 'Dancing On Ice'.
The Australian choreographer - who sat on the judging panel of the ice skating show since it began in 2006 before being replaced by Louie Spence earlier this year - admits it feels "amazing" to be back on the ITV1 programme.
Announcing his comeback at London's Ice Bar today (28.11.12), he said: "I'm really excited to announce that I am returning to 'Dancing on Ice'. It's amazing being part of this show."
He also wrote on Twitter: "It's been hard to keep this quiet until it was official but YES Tweeps I'm back on @DOI. Thanks to all who have supported me all the way xx (sic)"
But the outspoken panellist - famed for his harsh put-downs - made it clear that he wouldn't be toning down his frank comments.
He told the Huffington Post: "They know what they are getting with me. They're inviting me back because clearly they miss that.
"I'm still going to be honest and give my honest critique, that's all I've ever done and that's what I will continue to do."
His official announcement comes after Louie broke his silence on the topic earlier this month and revealed Jason would be returning to the panel.
He wrote on Twitter: "To all asking, no I won't be judging @Dancingonice this year. Jason is back.(sic)"
A number of stars are rumoured to be taking part in the competition including former 'Baywatch' babe Pamela Anderson, ex-rugby player Gareth Thomas, 'Coronation Street' actress Samia Ghadie and former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star Lauren Goodger.
