Helen Flanagan wasn't prepared for 'intense' I'm A Celebrity

Helen Flanagan wasn't prepared for how "intense" 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' would be.
The 22-year-old actress thought she would simply spend her time in the Australian jungle wearing a bikini and making friends, and despite being voted to do the first six Bushtucker Trials, failing to win any meals for her campmates in the first five, the blonde beauty insists she "loved every second" of the experience.
Speaking on ITV1's 'Lorraine', she said: "When I signed up for 'I'm A Celebrity' I didn't take the trials into consideration because I didn't think I would do so many.
"I thought I'd maybe do one or two and thought I'd be fine. I thought I would just be in a bikini and make friends, I didn't think it would be so intense.
"I'm just an emotional person, I don't see anything wrong with showing my emotions. I found it tough but I enjoyed it at the same time. I absolutely loved being in camp and I loved all my friends."
There were fears for the former 'Coronation Street' actress yesterday (27.11.12) when she cancelled a number of scheduled TV interviews and then admitted she was worried she had committed "social suicide".
In a series of posts on Twitter, Helen wrote: "Ive felt so emotional today and completely overwhelmed and mixed emotions...
"I was so in love with my time in the jungle through the highs and lows and feel so blessed to have been able to take part in such an incredible life changing show... All I did was be myself. Was so overwhelmed to see my parents and can't wait to my boyfriend who I love so much xxx
"Can't wait to catch up with my tweets soon I love my twitter ha! X though sitting in my hotel room I defo feel like I've committed social suicide.... Lol lots of love and Thankyou again for everyone's support xxx (sic)"
But Helen's exit has landed Eric Bristow with a £50,000 windfall after he placed a £20,000 bet on himself to reach the final six of 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' before the competition.
Prior to the former 'Coronation Street' actress being voted off the show, the darts legend told his campmates: "There's a lot of money on today. I told all the boys to whack the bookies that I'll get half way, so if I go out today, I'll lose the lot. It's worth £70,000 today. £20,000 to win £50,000."
