Helen Flanagan fears 'I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!' will ruin her relationship.
The former 'Coronation Street' actress - who won 12 stars in the Deadly Deliveries Bushtucker Trial after going back to camp empty handed following her previous efforts - reportedly had an argument with her footballer boyfriend Scott Sinclair before she entered the Australian jungle-based show.
An ITV source told The Sun newspaper: "Scott was against it. He was worried how she'd cope. And before she completed the Deadly Deliveries trial he was being proved right.
"But when it came to the crunch, Helen refused to back down. She can be very strong-willed - it's a shame we haven't seen that side of her."
Despite her concerns, the Manchester City winger has leapt to Helen's defence on Twitter after a number of stars took to the social networking site to criticise her for failing to win any stars in her early Bushtucker Trials.
In a series of tweets, he wrote: "It's so funny reading all your negative tweets haha and yet u still vote for @helenflanagan1
"All the negative tweeters hiding today towards @helenflanagan1that's what I thought @imacelebrity (sic)"
But 'Coronation Street' star Michael Le Vell is not backing his former co-star, and instead wants darts legend Eric Bristow to be crowned King of the Jungle.
He said: "Eric doesn't seem to have any agenda and is keeping things positive with humour and natural leadership.
"I'm reigning showbiz darts champion and will be challenging him to a match when he's out to see who the true celebrity darts king is."
Helen has finally been given a reprieve from Bushtucker Trial duty as during last night's (19.11.12) show co-hosts Ant and Dec revealed Hugo Taylor has been voted by the public to face the next challenge.
The 'Made in Chelsea' star has broken down in tears on a number of occasions during the series, most recently when newcomer Rosemary Shrager blasted the reality star as "rude". The pair have since made up.
