Beyonce Knowles and Rihanna want Ed Sheeran to write songs for him.

The 'A Team' hitmaker has a growing number of fans of his work and Taylor Swift - who worked with the British star on 'Everything Has Changed' - has predicted huge things for the 22-year-old singer.

Taylor told the Daily Star newspaper: "I think Ed is fast becoming the most in-demand songwriter in the world.

"It was a pleasure working with him. He has a real talent.

"Writing for One Direction has pretty much made him in demand from everybody.

"I know Justin Bieber loves his songs and I have heard Beyonce and Rihanna want him to write for them as well.

"He's a talented performer, too, but in 20 years we could be looking back at him as one of the all-time great songwriters."

As well as writing with Taylor, Ed has penned two tracks for One Direction, latest single 'Little Things' and 'Moments'.

Ed recently admitted he is planning to collaborate with Taylor - who he will join on the US leg of her 'Red' tour next year - again as they worked so well together the first time.

He said: "The Taylor song was tailored for her. It blended really well and she's a really nice person as well. So yeah, we worked well together.

"I'm gonna be on tour with her for six months so hopefully we'll get some songs done then."
