Tina McIntyre will be shunned by the residents of 'Coronation Street' when her surrogacy plans are made public.
The brunette beauty (Michelle Keegan) has agreed to carry a child for Gary Windass (Mikey North) and his girlfriend Izzy Armstrong in return for £15,000 and though her boyfriend Tommy Duckworth (Chris Fountain) initially agreed to back her actions, they have a furious row in the Rovers Return when she finds out she is pregnant, leading to gossip spreading about the situation.
Stella Price (Michelle Collins) slams Tina, declaring that "renting her womb out" is "not normal".
She added: "You can't deny it. Did you really think this through?"
Sally Webster (Sally Dynevor) is another critic of the scheme,
She says: "You tell me, what guy would want to settle down with a girl who can sell her own baby?"
However, Tina refuses to take their criticisms and defends the plan, insisting there is "no affair or love" involved.
She hits back, saying: "This baby was made in a lab and transferred in a clinic. There was no affair or love involved."
