Former 'EastEnders' actor Rob Kazinsky has joined the cast of 'True Blood'.

The 28-year-old actor - who is best known for playing Sean Slater in 'EastEnders' from 2006 to 2009 - has joined season six of the US vampire series as a faerie named Ben who will take a shine to Anna Paquin's character Sookie Stackhouse and help her try to solve the mystery of her parents' deaths.
Announcing the news on twitter, the actor wrote: "I see the good news is out! very exciting stuff, being from Brighton it was almost expected i'd be a fairy (sic)"
He later added: "the True Blood news has garnered me an extra 100 followers and that's really all that matters in life.(sic)"
Rob's casting comes after it was previously announced that 'Blade Runner' actor Rutger Hauer is also joining the new series of the show.
The sixth series of 'True Blood' - which is based on books by Charlaine Harris - is scheduled to begin in June 2013.
