The Killers' Brandon Flowers was forced to cut a show short after losing his voice last night (13.11.12).
The 'Runaways' band had to end their set at the Manchester Evening News arena in the north of England after just four songs, and have cancelled tonight's scheduled show, due to Brandon's voice problems.
Concertgoer Katherine Vine told the Manchester Evening News newspaper: "They played 'Mr Brightside' and it sounded fine. I thought it was going to be great.
"But after the third song, 'Smile Like You Mean It', Brandon said his voice had gone and he had a Chinese remedy drink so he would take that.
"They started the fourth song but he didn't sing a lot of it and was motioning to the rest of the band that he could not carry on.
"They left the stage and then a man came out and said the gig was cancelled."
The band issued a statement apologising to fans and promising to reschedule the shows.
They tweeted: "Manchester, we started something we couldn't finish and we're so, so sorry.
"Both Manchester shows (scheduled for the 13th & 14th) have been cancelled. We will have info about the rescheduled dates very soon. #hangtight (sic)."
The Killers have been touring Europe in support of new album 'Battle Born' throughout this month. Before their scheduled Manchester shows they had made an appearance at the MTV European Music Awards in Frankfurt, Germany, on Sunday (11.11.12).
