Helen Flanagan fails Bush Tucker Trial
Helen Flanagan is worried she looks like "wimp" after opting out of her first Bush Tucker Trial after mere seconds on 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'
'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' star Helen Flanagan lasted mere seconds in her first Bush Tucker Trial.
The 'Coronation Street' actress went head-to-head with Conservative MP Nadine Dorries in a terrifying Bug Burial challenge in last night's episode of the ITV1 show (12.11.12), but panicked and opted out of the trial after 10 seconds.
Helen and Nadine were chosen by the public to compete for their rival camps - Croc Creek and Snake Rock respectively - and be nailed into coffins for ten minutes as thousands of jungle critters were poured into them, but Helen didn't even survive the first round of maggots before screeching for help.
The busty blonde was left humiliated and sobbed: "I'm really struggling. I've even been thinking of going because I just don't know if I can hack it.
"It's a lot harder than I thought it would be. I'm dreading going back and saying I was only in there 10 seconds, but I tried.
"It's embarrassing and it's humiliating. I just feel like such a wimp."
Nadine also failed to win the trial and bring back food for her camp, opting out after four minutes when she thought a rat was biting her leg.
Helen's older campmates were largely sympathetic to her woes and have taken to mothering her and laughing at her ditsy comments.
When she changed into a skimpy bikini to "make up for my patheticness with my boobs", 'Birds of a Feather' star Linda Robson advised: "My advice would be to put something on. It might look like you're trying a bit hard."
The soap star is convinced she is being targeted by the public for her cowardly behaviour and was worrying about how long she will last in the jungle, whimpering: "I want to go home".
