Ousted 'X Factor' boy band District 3 wish their band rivals Union J "good luck" on the show and hope they do well.

District 3 wish Union J "good luck" on 'X Factor'.

The band - made up of Dan Ferrari-Lane, Greg West and Micky Parsons - were voted off the show last night (11.11.12) after going head-to-head with fellow boy band Union J, but do not wish them any ill will and hope they will continue to do well.

Greg said: "Obviously it's gutting, and in the competition it is over for us, but as a band it's just the beginning.

"It was always going to be tough when there are two boy bands and this probably what put both of us in the bottom two this week. But now that we're out of the competition, good luck to the guys. I hope they do really well. They are good guys and we're really supporting them."

Dan - who was rumoured to have been exchanging flirty text messages with Katie Price - added the group had an "amazing" time on the show.

Speaking on 'This Morning', he said: "We've had the best time on the show and everyone's been so good to us and we've made the most amazing friends."
