Robbie Williams is desperate for his album to be a success.

The 'Candy' singer is releasing his first studio LP in three years, 'Take The Crown', and admits he's putting a lot of pressure on himself for it to be a huge hit because that's the reason he's made it.

He said: "I want a big album. A big, successful album. Nobody really admits to thinking like that these days, they just go, 'Not bothered if it doesn't sell. I've been there, done it'. But people who say that are lying b*****ds!"

Robbie also revealed how he has taken inspiration from Bob Dylan on one of the album's tracks, 'Hunting For You'.

He told music streaming service Spotify: "That's me trying to channel Bob Dylan. I'm not saying I got anywhere near it at all. I'm just saying I tried to do it!

"'I feel my energy, justify some company, darling, everything I like is illegal, seductive, addictive in my world, corrosive, destructive...' It's flag-waving, rampart-standing, stadium-menacing, stadium-bothering song. I don't really know what it is."
