Bruno Tonioli reveals worst Strictly contestants
Bruno Toniolo has named Ann Widdecombe, Kate Garraway and Fiona Phillips as the worst ever 'Strictly Come Dancing' contestants
Bruno Tonioli says Kate Garraway, Fiona Phillips and Ann Widdecombe have been the worst ever 'Strictly Come Dancing' contestants.
The former 'GMTV' hosts and the Tory MP have all taken part in the BBC One show and while they have been hit with viewers, judge Bruno wasn't impressed with their moves.
When asked who the worst contestants have been, he said: "The 'GMTV' girls - Fiona Phillips and Kate Garraway - danced as though their bodies had been filleted of all bones. And Ann Widdecombe, bless her, was just dragged round the dancefloor week after week. I don't think it's ever been so well polished."
Bruno loves being a 'Strictly' judge and says he can still remember his first audition almost 10 year ago.
He told Britain's HELLO! magazine: "It was like the search for who would play Scarlett O'Hara in 'Gone with the Wind'. I lost count of how many auditions I did. In the end, I decided I couldn't be Beastly Bruno, so I went for being the court jester, which worked like a dream beside the much more sober Len Goodman."
