EastEnders' festive episodes to be the most exciting ever
EastEnders' festive episodes will be the most exciting yet, with Bianca and Dot colliding with drama as they return to Albert Square to find the Branning family going into meltdown
EastEnders' festive episodes will be the "most exciting" yet.
The BBC soap has several drama-filled storylines in the lead-up to Christmas and into the new year, with one of them starting shortly after Patsy Palmer's character Bianca returns to the soap.
With the red-head going back to Albert Square after being released from prison - where she was sent for stealing money for a market trader - viewers will see the Branning family collide with chaos in the weeks to follow and it all begins at Max and Tanya's wedding.
A source revealed: "It will be one of Walford's most exciting festive seasons. With Tanya and Max's wedding set for Christmas Eve, there's a storm brewing - and Max is still hiding some secrets ..."
Dot Branning, played by June Brown, also finds herself trying to put the pieces together as cousins Lauren and Joey embark on a passionate romance and Derek reportedly departing the soap in a shocking way.
The source added to InsideSoap magazine: "Dot left because she was grief-stricken over Heather.
"She'd better have used that time to heal, because there's set to be plenty of broken Branning hearts - and it will be Dot's job to fix them."
While Bianca can be seen back in Walford in just a few weeks Dot will be returning in January 2013.
