Lucy Spraggan threatens to quit X Factor
Lucy Spraggan has reportedly threatened to quit 'The X Factor' because she's bored of singing cover versions and wants to perform her own tunes
Lucy Spraggan has reportedly threatened to quit 'The X Factor'.
The 21-year-old singer didn't perform on Saturday's show (27.10.12) as she was unwell and although she was given a bye to next week's show, she isn't sure if she wants to continue because producers keep making her sing cover versions.
A source said: "Lucy might quit - she's tired of being told off. She doesn't want to sing covers. She was loving it but she's unwell, which is making her more negative."
Lucy has performed some of her own songs on the ITV1 show, which are now doing well in the iTunes chart and she wants to be paid for them.
Although Lucy - who is mentored by Tulisa Contostavlos - was diagnosed with the flu last week and doctors deemed her too unwell to perform, her absence upset many viewers as she had been out partying earlier in the week.
One tweeted: "If she stopped boozing we might have some sympathy."
Earlier this month, Lucy was temporarily kicked out of the upmarket hotel the contestants are staying in after she and Rylan Clark went out and got very drunk.
