Sid Owen was voted off 'Strictly Come Dancing' tonight (28.10.12).
The 'EastEnders' actor became the third celebrity to leave the current series of the BBC One dance show after he and his partner Ola Jordan lost out in the dance off to Colin Salmon and Kristina Rihanoff.
Sid -who performed the Cha Cha Cha to the 'Ghostbusters' theme with Ola - said: "I have loved every minute of it, thanks to Ola, she is a hard taskmaster but she has been great and we have had so much fun. And now I can even feel comfortable going out and maybe having a little dance."
It was a difficult week for the dancing duo after Sid was forced to practise with stand-in Iveta ¬Lukosiute when Ola returned to her native Poland to visit her sick mother.
However, she returned for the live show this weekend at her mum's urging.
Yet they failed to impress the judges with Len Goodman describing them as "too safe".
He said: "It was too safe, you need to go for it more and take risks. If you're going to go down, go down fighting."
