Chas Dingle to be charged with murder
Chas Dingle is to be charged with Carl King's murder on 'Emmerdale', even though fans know she wasn't responsible.
Chastity Dingle is to be charged with Carl King's murder on 'Emmerdale'.
The former stripper turned pub landlady is innocent, but when Carl's brother Jimmy King is put in the frame for it by police, she steps forward.
Cops find out Carl had been blackmailing Chas (Lucy Pargeter), and decide she killed him.
However, fans know the actual crime was committed by Cameron Murray (Dominic Power).
An insider told the Daily Star newspaper: "Will the Dingles stand by her or will they let her rot in jail?"
Carl - played by Tom Lister - was sensationally murdered in 'Emmerdale' during a live episode to celebrate the soap's 40th anniversary, when he was hit by a brick. To confuse matters, Chas did also hit him with a brick in the same episode.
Carl's days had been numbered when he began causing trouble at Chastity's wedding to Dan Spencer, when he ran in covered in blood and telling them their union was a mistake.
