Anton Du Beke blasts unfair Strictly judges
Anton du Beke believes the judges on 'Strictly Come Dancing' were unfair to Jerry Hall, who left the competition earlier this week.
Anton du Beke has blasted 'Strictly Come Dancing' bosses for giving poor marks to ousted Jerry Hall.
The professional dancer - who was booted out of the show alongside Jerry on Sunday night (21.10.12) - does not think Len Goodman, Darcey Bussell, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli were fair with their scores as they didn't note her dancing but just her posture.
He said: "Jerry danced really well on Saturday night but the improvement she made wasn't reflected in her marks from the judges.
"Their comments were heavily weighted towards her posture -- which does need work -- and not the way she actually moved on the dance floor.
"The show is called Strictly Come Dancing, so you would have thought that side of things would have been considered -- but apparently not."
Despite the end of their professional relationship, Anton is not upset with how hard Jerry worked and thinks she is an "absolute legend".
He told The Sun newspaper: "I have no idea why people didn't pick up the phone and vote for Jerry.
"But I think if the judges had given her another chance the viewers would have got to know her better and loved her. She's an absolute legend."
Jerry previously joked she was lazy and did not want to do more work than necessary for the show.
