PSY is looking forward to losing his "international virginity" at the MTV European Music Awards (EMAs).
The Korean singing sensation - who has hit number one in over 15 countries with his track 'Gangnam Style' - will take the stage in Europe for the first time at the annual awards show in Frankfurt, Germany, on November 11.
He said: "Since this is my first time to not only be nominated for an international award but perform in front of a worldwide audience, I am excited to give up my international virginity to the MTV EMA!"
PSY is among the latest crop of acts to be announced as performing at the event, alongside Pitbull, Alicia Keys and The Killers.
The Killers - who have just released their latest album, 'Battle Born' - said: "Roses are red, violets are blue, The Killers are coming to Frankfurt to play the MTV EMA."
Alicia Keys will also debut a new track from her 'Girl on Fire' album, and is suitably excited about the show.
She said: "It is so good to be back at the MTV EMAs. I'm crazy excited to share music from my new album with the world. I feel such a powerful energy around me when I'm performing, especially on a night like the EMA. It's electric."
The artists join previously announced acts including Muse, No Doubt, Carly Rae Jepsen and Rita Ora by performing at the event.
Rihanna and Taylor Swift top the list of nominees for the night's awards with six and five nods respectively, while Katy Perry and Justin Bieber have four each.
One Direction have already been named recipients of the Best UK/Ireland Act at the event, which will be hosted by supermodel and Frankfurt native Heidi Klum.
The 19th annual EMAs will broadcast live from Frankfurt's Festhalle on November 11 at 9pm Central European Time.
