Kylie Minogue would consider X Factor role
Kylie Minogue would consider taking up a role on the judging panel of 'X Factor' in the future, but for now is happy to watch
Kylie Minogue would consider being a judge on 'The X Factor'.
The 44-year-old singer thinks starring on the ITV1 singing competition would be "fulfilling" and she would love supporting and mentoring her acts, but she is happy simply watching the show for the moment.
Kylie said: "Judging, I don't know. It might be like a lot of things in life where thinking about it is more difficult than doing it. I think if I was driven to the studio and told I was doing it, then I'd get into it and I might find it really fulfilling.
"I'm sure I've got enough to offer. I've been there and never had anyone hold my hand, so it would be quite nice to do that for someone else. But for the moment, I'm happy just watching "
The Australian superstar - whose sister Dannii was a popular panellist on 'The X Factor' from 2007 until 2010 - admitted she is a big fan of the girls' category this year as well as outlandish dance act Rylan Clark.
Kylie enthused: "I love Rylan, of course I do. I think it's brilliant he's been put through. Who's the person who gets the most attention? I think he's been great for the show and won a place in people's hearts. My favourites are Jade [Ellis] and Ella [Henderson]. Although, Jahmene's [Douglas] voice is out of this world. It's shaping up to be a good year."
Despite celebrating 25 years in the music industry, the petite singer is doubtful her voice would have been strong enough to be picked by the judges if she were to have entered a similar competition at the beginning of her career.
She told new! magazine: "I don't have a massive voice and that's what they normally go for. I probably would have [entered] but whether I would have got through or not, I don't know."
