Louis Smith and Flavia Cacace will recreate the iconic 'Dirty Dancing' lift on tomorrow's (20.10.12) 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The Olympic gymnast and his professional partner will perform a salsa to the song '(I've Had) The Time of My Life' - made famous by the 1987 movie which starred Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey - but rehearsals haven't been going smoothly.
A source said: "Louis and Flavia were practising the lift and because Louis is quite tall and the studio ceiling is low, Flavia managed to put her foot through it.
"Louis hadn't even seen 'Dirty Dancing' before this week. Now he's saying he's having far from the time of his life because the lift is so risky. They have no idea whether they will pull it off."
Meanwhile, cricketer Michael Vaughan will be taking inspiration from other film for his performance with Natalie Lowe.
The pair will take influence from male stripper movie 'The Full Monty' in their routine to 'Hot Stuff' - though the sportsman won't be flashing the flesh.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Michael will whip off his detachable shirt and trousers during his routine to reveal his cricket whites underneath.
"He may not be baring flesh but it will certainly get people's attention and Michael feels that's exactly what he needs after scoring just 15 last week."
